Our basic instinct and what our soul truly desires is love. Not money. Not hate. Not ego. Not greed. Not fear. It’s love. I have recorded a heart chakra meditation which is available for free on my YouTube channel to give you a little love and the the ability to see love again.

About Us

Keighley’s Largest Yoga CENTRE

Yoga Wellbeing is the number one place for all things Yoga in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Our experienced team are skilled in many different styles of Yoga and our studios are the perfect place to join a class and improve not only your physical health but also your mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Our spacious Keighley studio has capacity for 40 Yogis across 2 floor. Located above our vegan coffee shop and eatery with plans to open a bar summer 2019. We house 2 holistic treatment rooms and are the home of Suandasti Yoga Teacher Training. We also facilitate mental health coaching workshops, mindfulness and meditation. We work alongside Manorlands Sue Ryder Hospice, The National Literacy trust and have plans to collaborate with Mental Health Muscle this year. Much more than just a yoga studio. We help people to live a happier, fulfilled life. 

In 2013 I opened Yoga Wellbeing a small business teaching yoga, mediation and fitness. This grew and in 2017 I opened Wellbeing Lounge Coffee shop and holistic centre. We have grown into a thriving local business employing yoga and fitness instructors for a variety of classes.

Why Yoga?

Most people come to yoga for flexibility, stress relief. health, and physical fitness. Yoga also offers self-reflection, the practice of kindness and self-compassion, continued growth and self-awareness Yoga eases anxiety, depression and promotes mental wellbeing.

The health benefits are very real. Yes, yoga can increase your flexibility improve your balance, decrease your cholesterol and improve health problems including chronic pain, fatigue, obesity, asthma and irritable bowel syndrome. Yoga can help heal and prevent injuries, bad backs. hips, necks and knees. Yoga Wellbeing comes recommended by lain Harris at Physio Solutions, Cross Hills. We work together to help clients recover and heal from trauma and injury.

I’ve been going to weekly yoga classes with SJ for about a year now, and I love it! The studio and people who work there are welcoming and inclusive. The class allows people of all abilities to go at their own pace, and challenge themselves if they choose to do so. SJ explains things well and is a great example of wellness.

Your health is really important to us so we wanted to be transparent and reassure you everything we’re doing to maintain a safe studio, as well as offering some yogic and hollistic tools for managing illness.

Practicing yoga is not always beneficial when you’re unwell – but rest is. We will be putting together a ‘get well soon pack’ of yoga postures, meditations, holistic therapies, crystal advice and links to yoga nidra recordings.

What We’re Doing:
– Continuing our regular, thorough cleaning of the studios,  therapy room and kit
– Sharon has blended a new cleaning spray for mats

What You Can Do:
– Rest at home if you think you may be  unwell or at risk of passing on any kind of virus or cold. We always ask this as we are self employed and catching any bugs means we don’t work or get paid
– Bring your own yoga mat or mat towel with you
– Wash your hands thoroughly before and after class
– Spray and clean down your mat and other equipment before and after your class using the multipurpose cleaner spray bottles provided (regardless of whether or not you have laid a towel/your own mat over it). Your own mat is your responsibility to clean.
– If you would prefer not to receive hands-on adjustments in  class you can let the teacher know.


Book on any 2 new sessions and purchase a block of 10 for £60 to use commencing 6 January 2020!

Unicorn Fun Day

August 14th – 11am – 3pm

Unicorn fun day for kids and adults. Kids unicorn themed yoga class at 1030-11.15am £5 per child. Paint a unicorn pot or make a unicorn dream catcher £6 per person. Booking essential. Payment upon booking. Do both for £10! We will also have unicorn themed cakes and freak shakes. We have a limited capacity. Please message us with bookings and queries.

Yoga Workshop Day for Mental Health Awareness

August 31st – 10am – 5pm

We are proud to announce our Yoga Workshop Day for mental health awareness. A day rammed with Yoga classes, meditations and talks with guest speakers including Dez Wilson (councillor and men’s mental health specialist), Rosie Hart (hormone and gut to brain specialist) and lots more. This day is to raise the awareness of and support Mental Health Muscle. They will have their team available on the day to talk to you.

Holy Fire III Reiki® Master Course

This is a Holy Fire III Reiki® course. From a student perspective this means that you will benefit from the latest version of Holy Fire Reiki® along with the purest and highest possible frequencies of energies.

This three day event will include all of the Holy Fire ‘Placements’, ‘Experiences’ and ‘Ignitions’ to impart the student with everything needed to work with the powerful healing energies of ‘Holy Fire III Reiki®’, and provide the necessary foundation to become a Holy Fire Reiki® Master and Teacher.

Students must have previously been ‘attuned’ to Usui Reiki Level 2 or Usui / Holy Fire Reiki Level 2 as a minimum. Ideally, this would have been a minimum of six months ago, and you should be using Reiki, in some form, every day.

Rob is an Usui, Holy Fire III and Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master and is now establishing himself as a Teacher receiving exceptional feedback from his students. He regularly conducts Reiki Awareness Talks and Group Experiences with any size group of people based on a desire to share the phenomenal healing energy that is Reiki. Rob’s dream is to see Reiki in general use and for it to become a household norm.

Children’s yoga ages 6-11 with Nicola Stephenson. Nicola has worked in primary education for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience with children of all abilities. 

The benefits of yoga for children include better sleep, social interaction, brain function and learning. Children develop body awareness and  learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way.

Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement. Build concentration and help their confidence and positive self-image. Children Learn to be part of a healthy, non-competitive group.

Our studio is based within Wellbeing Lounge Coffee Shop & Holistic Centre. We are able to offer a comprehensive selection of health, wellbeing and fitness classes. SJ is an holistic health coach, meditation author and teacher, usui and holy fire reiki practitioner and angel healing therapist. Sharon Anne Thomas is our in house holistic therapist offering reflexology, hot stone massages, reiki, holistic facials and more. We also offer Angel Card readings and one to one healing.

Breathing for relaxation

Baby Yoga & Massage

As well as the benefits for your baby like positive touch, movement provides stimulation of your baby’s physical systems. It can also help teach your baby to gain control over their bodies and movements. Baby yoga can also improve your baby’s sleeping pattern and help with digestion.
